The Invel Team

Prior to Invel, Chris was a Managing Director and Global Head of RREEF Opportunistic Investments (ROI), the division of RREEF Real Estate that specialises in high yield real estate investment strategies. Previously, he was the Co-CEO for RREEF Alternatives in Europe, Middle East and Northern Africa and was instrumental in consolidating RREEF’s broader alternatives platform in the EMEA region. While at RREEF, Chris completed and / or restructured over 60 investments totalling in excess of $20bn of gross asset value. Amongst others, he led the corporate restructuring, refinancing and repositioning of the French department store Le Printemps; the acquisition, repositioning and subsequent sale of La Rinascente, Italy’s leading department store; as well as the acquisition, subsequent restructuring and sale of Newreal S.p.A, then the commercial real estate subsidiary of Enel, Italy’s largest power company.

Alexis joined Invel in September 2019. Prior to Invel, Alexis spent 7 years with the Commercial Real Estate team at Deutsche Bank. During his time at Deutsche Bank, Alexis spent several years within the underwriting and capital markets distribution teams. While at Deutsche Bank, Alexis was instrumental in revitalising the capital markets distribution team, by restarting Deutsche Bank’s CMBS program and successfully distributing over €1.5 billion of senior debt across CMBS and loan syndications.

Most recently, Alexis was responsible for loan origination and execution and was involved in over 30 transactions across Europe worth in excess of €2.5 billion. The transactions Alexis originated were across the capital structure, including senior, mezzanine and junior debt, secured against real estate collateral spanning most asset classes such as office, leisure, residential, hospitality and retail across most major European jurisdictions.

Alexis holds a MEng in Civil & Environmental Engineering from University College London and an MSc in Finance from Imperial College London.

Angelo joined Invel as an Analyst in April 2017 and works in the Italian team in both investment underwriting and asset management. In particular, he is involved in the financial modelling, due diligence and investment memos on potential opportunities, as well as asset management activities on acquired properties located in Italy.

Prior to joining Invel, Angelo was an Analyst at COIMA Group, where he was part of the Investment team and was involved in the acquisition of assets worth c. €100 million.

He holds an undergraduate degree in Finance and a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from Bocconi University. During his time at university, he spent a semester abroad at University of Virginia, McIntire/Darden Business School, and interned at BNP Paribas in the Corporate Finance M&A division.

Aniello serves as Chief Financial Officer for Invel Italy. Aniello has more than 15 years of professional experience in the real estate finance field. From 2013 to 2017, Aniello was Head of Fund Finance at Castello SGR (AUM € 2bn) having the responsibility for managing and coordinating the core financial and reporting activities of 30 real estate funds. He was member of the Funds’ Committee. From 2005 to 2012, Aniello covered the role of Financial and Administration Officer at RREEF Fondimmobiliari SGR (AUM € 2bn) with the responsibilities of 15 real estate funds (of which 2 listed) and related investment vehicles overseas.

He also worked as Head of Fund Accounting and Reporting at Immobiliare Rio Nuovo S.p.A., an asset and property management vehicle owned by the Deutsche Bank group and had experience as senior accountant in the business process outsourcing division of Ernst and Young and Arthur Andersen.

Aniello has a master’s degree in Business and Administration from the University of Salerno.

Antria joined Invel in June 2020, and has 8 years’ experience in the financial and real estate sectors. In her role, she is mainly responsible for the underwriting and financial modelling of real estate investments, asset management, research and due diligence. Prior to joining Invel, she held the position of Finance Manager in one of the largest property developers in Cyprus, where her main responsibilities included financial modelling and analysis. Antria launched her career at Deloitte in Cyprus, where she gained experience in mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations and restructurings, valuations, corporate financial advisory services and transaction services (with transaction experience in excess of €2.8bn).

Antria holds a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Cyprus. She is an Associate Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus.


Aristotelis joined Invel in October 2016. He supports the team with research, due diligence, financial modelling of potential investments as well as asset management.

Prior to joining Invel, Aristotelis worked as an Intern at LMN Capital Partners and Natixis Investment Bank in London. Aristotelis holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Athens University of Economics and Business. During his undergraduate studies, Aristotelis also worked as a Research Assistant and interned at the Central Bank of Greece.

Arnaud joined Invel in early 2014. He is instrumental in the execution and management of Invel’s transactions, in the fundraising and structuring of new transactions as well as helping to guide the firm’s investment philosophy along with Invel’s other principals. Arnaud has extensive experience structuring and executing complex distressed, corporate, portfolio, and property-level real estate private equity transactions in Europe. Arnaud comes from a real estate investment banking advisory background. Prior to Invel, he was Managing Partner with Brookfield Financial, the real estate focused investment banking arm of Brookfield Asset Management Inc. Before Brookfield Financial, he was a director in the Eurohypo Global Advisory team. Arnaud has over the years advised institutional clients on a wide range of real estate transactions across Europe, from M&A to corporate and debt restructuring, fund raising, JV creations, and IPOs. Amongst others, he was involved in RREEF and Borletti Group’s equity disposal of the “Le Printemps” transaction in 2013, in the Inmobiliaria Colonial restructuring, and in the acquisitions and take privates of Groupe Taittinger and Société du Louvre. Before moving into Investment Banking Advisory, Arnaud started his career with PwC audit in Paris and London.

Arnaud received his Master’s degree in Finance and Post Master’s degree in Corporate Taxation from the University Paris Dauphine

Davide acts as Senior Advisor to Invel and is heavily involved in Invel’s day-to-day operations in Italy.

From 2001 to 2014, Davide was Managing Director / CEO of RREEF for Italy. In this position, he had the responsibility of the Italian local platform part of the RREEF industry (Deutsche Bank Group). His main role was to develop a stable organization with strong real estate and financial figures able to work on large and complex real estate portfolios. The team managed was composed by 28 employees. Starting from January 2001, Davide managed investments for more than €8 billion, with a disposal activity during this period of about €10 billion.

Before RREEF, Davide was head of asset management for Healy & Baker (now Cushman & Wakefield) in the Milan office.

Davide has a degree in political science from the Milan University and a Master in Facility Management from Politecnico di Milano.

Edoardo joined Invel as an Analyst in May 2021 and works in the Italian team.

Prior to joining Invel, Edoardo worked as an Analyst at GWM Group in London, where he was part of the Investment team. He was involved in underwriting and asset management activities for the acquisition and monitoring of listed and non-listed multi-asset real estate portfolios worth c. €200m.

Edoardo holds MSc in Accounting, Financial Management and Control and a BSc in Economics and Finance from Bocconi University. During his university years, he spent two semesters abroad, studying at NCCU of Taipei (ROC) and at University College Dublin (Ireland). He interned at CBRE, in the Capital Advisors division, and at KPMG, in the Audit division.

Elena joined Invel in October 2019. She is responsible for all legal and regulatory aspects, compliance, KYC due diligence and corporate matters.

Prior to joining Invel, Elena served as the Deputy Head of Compliance at RCB Bank Ltd, one of the largest financial institutions in Cyprus. She was involved in all compliance aspects for implementing an effective program for the prompt and on – going compliance of the Bank with its legal and regulatory obligations towards the Central Bank of Cyprus and the European Central Bank. Elena has a legal background and started her career as a corporate lawyer in the leading Cyprus law firm, Elias Neocleous & Co LLC.

Elena holds an LLB (Hons) Degree from the University of Essex, an LLM in Banking and Finance Law from the University of London as well as an MBA in Finance from the University of Leicester.

Fabio is responsible for asset management and disposals in Italy. He joined Invel in September 2018 and has more than 10 years of experience in real estate asset management.

At Invel, he works with leasing agents, property managers, legal, tax and technical consultants and liaises with existing and new tenants.

Prior to Invel, Fabio was Senior Asset Manager at AXA IM, Real Assets where he focused on the strategic asset management of the properties of AXA clients in Italy across different asset classes such as office, retail box, shopping centre, logistics, hotel, Data-centre and multiplex cinema. He closed disposals exceeding €500m, including portfolio deals and mixed used properties.

Prior to joining AXA IM Real Assets, Fabio was Structured Finance Project Manager at KGAL Italy and before Independent Auditor at Financial Service Industry of Arthur Andersen.

He received his degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan.

Francesco Molinari is responsible for acquisitions in Italy. He joined Invel in September 2014 and has 8 years of experience in private equity real estate.
Prior to Invel, Francesco was an Associate Director at The Carlyle Group were he focused on the acquisition of opportunistic real estate deals, and closed transactions exceeding €600m, among which were portfolio deals, mixed-use properties, and corporate real estate transactions.

Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Molinari was an Auditor for PwC in Milan.

He received his degree in finance from Bocconi University in Milan, with a dissertation focused on industrial real estate developments.

George joined Invel in September 2018. As CFO, he is responsible for Invel’s financial functions, while also overseeing various operational matters and relationships with investors and financial institutions. He has a key role in the due diligence, structuring and execution of Invel’s transactions, and supports Invel’s investment team in the acquisition, disposal and refinancing processes.

George comes from a financial services and regulated investment management background. Prior to joining Invel, he was a director and the CFO of the IKOS fund and investment advisory business, where he was responsible for finance, regulatory compliance and operational risk management. He started his career at KPMG Audit and Assurance in London, where he also gained experience in a wide range of M&A transactions, business valuations and pre-acquisition due diligence projects.

George is a Fellow Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and received a B.A. and M.A. in Economics from the University of Cambridge.

Harris joined Invel in January 2020. He has over 25 years’ experience in real estate asset, property and construction management.

Prior to joining Invel, he was the General Manager of the property management division at Aphrodite Hills Resort (where he was responsible for managing a portfolio of around 400 commercial and residential units with a value in excess of €300m) having previously been part of the management team that oversaw the development of the resort (comprising of a 5-star hotel, villas and other residential property, an award-winning golf course, a spa, and restaurants and other amenities). Harris started his career at Cybarco, one of the leading development and construction companies in Cyprus, where he held senior construction and project management roles in various prestigious projects.

Harris holds a BEng (Hons) and an MBA  from University of Surrey, as well as a Diploma in Civil Engineering from the Higher Technical Institute of Cyprus.

Laura joined Invel as Development Manager in March 2021 and works in the Italian team.

She is responsible for managing technical feasibility in the acquisition and planning phases as well as overseeing the development of the acquired properties in Italy through to delivery and exit.

Prior to joining Invel, Laura was part of the development management team at COIMA, involved into medium and large-scale mixed-use real estate developments in Milan, worth capex for more than 150 mln.

She is also keen on ESG and innovative developments and has a relevant experience in green building certifications.She graduated from Master of Architecture in Building Engineering at University of Catania with honors and holds a Master of Science in Project Management from Polytechnic of Milan

Luv joined Invel at inception, and has circa 16 years of real estate private equity investing experience. He is instrumental in the underwriting, execution, and management of Invel’s transactions, as well as helping to guide the firm’s investment philosophy along with Invel’s other principals. Luv has extensive experience structuring and executing complex distressed, corporate, portfolio, and property-level real estate private equity transactions in the United States, Latin America, Europe and Asia, having closed and managed transactions totalling over €5 billion of gross asset value.

Prior to Invel , Luv most recently spent 2.5 years as a Principal of Ranieri Real Estate Partners in New York, focusing on the acquisition of distressed commercial loan portfolios and individual distressed assets, and the prior 11 years holding various global roles with Deutsche Bank / RREEF, largely focusing on opportunistic real estate private equity transactions. Notable European acquisitions at Deutsche Bank / RREEF include the circa €1 billion acquisition of La Rinascente, Italy’s leading department store company and the circa €1.4 billion acquisition of Newreal S.p.A., then the commercial real estate subsidiary of Enel, Italy’s largest power company.

In addition, Luv has a lifetime of hospitality experience as a co-owner of his family business, which currently owns and operates five hotels comprising over 425 rooms and has three hotels under construction, located in the mid-Atlantic and southern United States. He is extensively involved in the origination and execution of hotel development and NPL/REO opportunities, as well as all major operating and management decisions for the existing portfolio. Luv has worked with stakeholders in all parts of the hospitality investment process, from origination (i.e. commercial banks, special services, property / loan brokers, and property owners), to investment (e.g. financing banks, legal counsel), to operations (i.e. franchisors / brands, management companies, development partners).

Luv received his B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.


Marianna joined Invel in October 2018. She is involved in a number of projects in the Southern European region with greater focus on the hospitality sector. Her responsibilities include overseeing operations and development of major projects, such as the Landmark Nicosia, the Aphrodite Hills Resort and Parklane, a Luxury Collection Hotel.

In the past, Marianna was an Associate with Deutsche Bank Capital Partners (DB Capital) in London. Whilst in DB Capital she worked on the $1 bln acquisition of leisure company, Center Parks. She also worked in the Investment Banking and Securitization teams of Deutsche Bank, the Risk Management division of J P Morgan (Euroclear) in Brussels, as well as the Management Consulting team of KPMG in Nicosia. In 1995 she was awarded an internship and a subsequent short-term contract at the Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs of the European Commission in Brussels.

After receiving a Fulbright Scholarship, Marianna attended Boston University where she received a BA in Economics and International Relations and an MA in Economics. Following almost a decade of work experience, she attended London Business School where she received an MBA.

Pasquale joined Invel in 2018. Prior to Invel, he was an Associate at Cerberus Group, where he was part of the European NPLs and Real Estate asset management team. Pasquale has over the years worked on several transactions with assets worth in excess of $15bn and he was mainly responsible for the financial modelling of distressed loans and debt restructuring.

Before Cerberus, he worked at IlliquidX where he focused on the acquisition of NPLs in Italy and interned at Unicredit SpA in Milan. He graduated cum laude from LUISS University with a master in Corporate Finance.

Pippa joined Invel in October 2014 after 6 years’ experience in practice accountancy and audit.

Pippa is ACA qualified and has worked at London based firms Nyman Libson Paul and Kingston Smith as a General Practice Manager. She specialised in working with Film, Music and Theatre clients before moving into the Property & Real Estate sector. She has experience in corporate, indirect and personal tax, overseas jurisdictions, FCA compliance and reporting, and accounting for complex business structures.

Pippa holds a BA degree from Durham University in Music.

Valantis  joined Invel in October 2020 and he is responsible of the CYREIT.

Prior to joining Invel, Valantis served as the Asset Manager at Gordian Holdings (subsidiary of Apollo Global Management), a market leading investor in secured debt and real estate portfolios in Cyprus.

Prior to Gordian, he was part of the Asset Management team of the Real Estate Management Unit of Bank of Cyprus the largest financial institution in Cyprus.

Valantis has a six year background on repositioning distress real estate and started his career as an analyst in the Resolute Asset Management

He holds a Bachelor Degree from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens in Economics with specialisation in Finance and he is a Level 2 Candidate of Charter Alternative Investment Association

Vassos is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He is also a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants Cyprus as well as a member of the Legal and Regulatory Committee of the Cyprus Investment Funds Association (“CIFA”).

Vassos served as the Chief Financial Officer at capital.com, a brokerage business. He also served as the Managing Director of Dimacos Capital Ltd, a research-based organization that develops systematic absolute return investment strategies and the Chief Investment Officer of Dimacos Fund, an alternative investment fund that trades the Dimacos Capital trading strategies.

Vassos has more than twenty years of professional experience in finance and the global financial and securities markets. He has gained significant professional experience in business startups, restructuring, fund administration, investment funds, the financial and securities markets and the financial services industry in general. Between 2005 and 2013, he held senior positions in the hedge funds sector including chief accountant, operations manager, chief operating officer and executive member of the board of directors of one of Europe’s largest hedge fund management firms trading multi-billion dollar alternative investment portfolios of listed and over-the-counter financial futures, equities, equity-indices, commodities, bonds, interest rates and foreign exchange. For a number of years Vassos headed the internal fund administration department, administering at its peak in excess of US$3.5 billion in liquid open-ended funds and managed accounts. Previously, Vassos had senior exposure in the banking industry for a number of years as head of strategic planning at the banking group Laiki Bank (Hellas) S.A. as well as the technology sector as finance director.
